Credit Transfer and Academic Pathways for students completing the National Diploma in Business Level 5
The AUT University
1. Completion of the National Diploma Level 5 or 6 will gain entry to the BBus but no credits are awarded.
2. Students with a minimum grade average of B or better in three or more NZ Dip Bus papers will gain entry to the BBus but with no credit.
3. For a completed NZ Dip Bus with a B grade average from a Polytechnic up to 120 points may be granted to the BBus.
Christchurch Polytechnic of Institute Technology
An additional 28 weeks at Christchurch Polytechnic of Institute Technology to complete the NZ Diploma in Business Level 6 with B grades or IELTS 6.0 to gain entry to a NZ University to complete an Undergraduate DegreeBachelor of Applied Business [360 credits] 90 credits B grade NZDipBus L6] will be awarded towards the Applied Business Bachelor
Massey University
Students with a minimum grade of B in three or more NZDipBus papaers will gain entry to the College of Business degree programmes subject to providing satisfactory evidence of their proficiency in English, normally an academic IELTS 5.5. For a completed NZDipBus, up to 120 credits in unspecified and specified papers may be granted for NZDipBus papers with a grade of B or better.
Lincoln University
The Lincoln University Commerce degree is 360 credits. Students who have completed 6 NZDipBus modules will receive 45 specified credits; students who have completed 12 NZDipBus modules will receive specified 120 credits
Otago Polytechnic
Students completing the National Diploma in Hospitality Management L5 will be credited with three courses which will be the equivalent of 0.5 of year of a Bachelor of Applied management [60 credits]. These credits compromise 3 specified credits awarded where an 80% match was established with course content for the Bachelor of Applied Management.
