Unitec is gearing up now to help our current students take full advantage of a large wave of Call Centre Support roles at the IBM Delivery Centre. Expressions of interest for these roles are being taken now by IBM, and the roles will start in October or November this year.

The roles will provide customer support to one of IBM’s major key clients - the world’s number one producer of tablets, mobile phones and MP3 players.
Students from all areas of study are welcome to apply. To be successful with their expression of interest, students must have an up-to-date CV to submit with their application, and will possess the following key attributes:
• Experience working in a customer service OR call centre environment
• Exceptional communication skills over the telephone, and good typing skills
• Feel comfortable learning technical concepts and explaining these to customers in basic terms
• Experience in turning disgruntled, unhappy customers into very satisfied customers
• Robust problem-solving skills
• Experience working with computers
• A positive “can-do” attitude
