2013年入学的Unitec学生将会获得RICS学生会员资格，是获得注册预算师资格重要的第一步。

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) welcomes Unitec as one of the new universities to received accreditation with them. Unitec’s  Bachelor of Construction (Construction Economics) and Bachelor of Construction (Construction Management) courses are now listed with RICS as accredited degrees.

RICS has a long history of working with the education sector by accrediting degrees in New Zealand.  Graduates of RICS accredited degrees can further their career by becoming Chartered Surveyors.

RICS student membership is now open to Unitec’s 2013 intake of Bachelor of Construction (Construction Economics and Construction Management majors) students, which is the first step on the pathway to becoming a Chartered Surveyor, the world’s leading qualification when it comes to professional standards in land, property and construction.

Student membership is free, and RICS can provide support with their study, careers advice, networking and job opportunities. Attaining RICS chartered status is the recognised mark of property professionalism, with over 100,000 property professionals worldwide.
